Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back

I always thought it ended on the big revelation; but it still continues on.
One thumbs up - it was much better than episode IV for more interesting storylines, Yoda being hilarious, and a far superior lightsabre battle.

Frozen

Mum: "Why is it called Frozen? Is it because it's on an ice island?"
Me: "Errrrrrrrr...." *dumbfounded look*
One thumbs up, but half a thumbs down for gingerbread men icing gone wrong.

Elf

Zooey and Will Ferrel's little duet of Baby It's Cold Outside was really quite lovely :)
One thumbs up for some Christmas cheer; one personal thumbs up for me for a successful spicy tuna rice crispy but half a thumbs down for jam that may be off.

Love Actually

With the Kathryn, Sally and Clint on the couch, and Yvonne, Jing and Helen on whatsapp.
Two thumbs up, but sad the writers decided that Alan Rickman's not shown backstory involved an actual affair.

Midnight in Paris

Is it a bit worrying that I see some of Rachel McAdam's character traits within myself (not all, just some).
Two thumbs up, and oh the opening montage and music is always just so beautiful.

Star Wars: IV, A New Hope

Oh. This was supposed to be the best one?
Half a thumbs up, but I really enjoyed the trivia about the actor in R2D2 who was often left behind in his costume whilst the other crew and actors went to lunch!
Correction: This is NOT best one. It's just Josh's favourite. The next one is generally regarded as the best one.

One and a half thumbs up, and gleeful delight when I learnt Josh likes this movie too!

Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2

That dragged on and on! And again, half of it was just going around making propaganda videos!
One and a half thumbs down - but two personal thumbs up to Josh who had to endure this, just to cheer me up from being an irrational sobbing mess because I couldn't go to the beach this afternoon on my day off on a gorgeous day (could this BE more of a first world problem?!)
