Ocean's 11

Brad Pitt's shirt is really shiny and his hair very blonde streaky. 

One and three quarters thumbs up - much heist, much fun. 

Hamilton

Cindy has proven herself un-trustworthy because she doesn't like "Schuyler Sisters". Not just meh about it. Actively. Dislikes. 

Two thumbs up - and it was much fun at this sing-a-long screening (I got to be King George!). 'LaFayette' in 'Guns and Ships' will now have to be accompanied by Ben's arms up shaking dance move.

Love Actually

No Daniel, no one has a fall. None of the story arcs involve a physical fall. 

Two thumbs up - I used this as my timer for how long the ham was in the oven for. And good thing because I almost went without watching Love Actually for the year.. or having ham! 

Home Alone

Our extended family is very familiar with security bars. Must be the areas we lived in and our parents' collective paranoia. 

One and a half thumbs up - I have major problems with the family dynamic but overall very fun! I also cried... in HOME ALONE (a child's comedy). 

Happiest Season

Oh so this is what rich white people's house/Christmas/entertainment is like.

One thumbs up - K Stew is good, but Dan Levy is scene stealing! 

Wolfwalkers

And somehow our post-movie discussion mostly centred on arguing whether movie Paddington bear was cute or hideous. 

One and a half thumbs up - wildly exceeded my expectations, but also because my first exposure was a childish looking screen-grab. But the animation and story is so much richer than that! Also Robyn looked and sounded like Saoirse Ronan, and you are wearing green, so of course I thought she was Irish (she was not). 

The Godfather

Al Pacino has always been an old man to me, but he is so young and kind of handsome in this!

One and a half thumbs up - personal thumbs down to us for running late with the food again, but then personal thumbs up because I think everyone seemed to enjoy it. Extra personal thumbs up to Nicole for "A Menu They Couldn't Refuse" hehe.
