They used blue fabric wrapped around Lt. Dan's legs and later digitally removed them...  I thought it was going to be green half pants.

Argo

Oh my goodness that was so tense and so stressful! But of course that part didn't actually happen.
One and three quarters thumbs up, disbelief that the other hostages were there for 444 days.

The Revenant

I shouldn't have laughed when the bear rolled over Leo... but I did.
Half a thumbs up, but mostly thumbs up for how beautiful the scenery and cinematography was.

Grease

Oh my god, I am the goody two shoes Sandra Dee of Josh's group of friends :(
One thumbs up, but one thumbs down for the pock-marked man and old woman dancer - they don't even go here!

Carol

Cate Blanchett is very good at playing rich women - socialites, royalty, rich elves. I have never seen her as a poor person!
Three quarters thumbs up - I was going to give it zero thumbs, but it started to pick up in the middle.

Fargo

No, you said Argo.
One and a half thumbs up - it is not a comedy, or even black comedy. It's a very good movie, and she is funny, but the film is not funny.

Bridesmaids

Hilarious; but tonight, was not as hilarious as Anna's story Act I Scene I (by Jenny), or Anna's rap anthem (by Yvonne).
Two thumbs up!

Josh thinks George VI is a cool name because it has a 'V' in it...
Five sixths thumbs up - couldn't decide between three quarters or one thumbs.

The Royal Tenebaums

I didn't even realise there were spotted mice throughout the film; completely missed that story detail until Josh told me.
One and a half thumbs up, and look! It's a Schnitzel beagle!

A Little Princess

I still like it so much, even after all this time. Oh the nostalgia!
One thumbs up, and personal thumbs up to Yvonne for gifting me this, though I really don't remember forcing the girls to watch it too haha!

Jersey Boys

I always laugh at the towel bit, but was slightly disappointed to hear it may not be true.
One thumbs up, and a self-awarded personal thumbs up for getting the spaghetti carbonara right with minimal scrambling.

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens

Stuff Katniss, and the Hunger Games. REY, and her amazing costume, is the role model to aspire to! Go Rey! Team Rey!!

I loved it! - One and three quarters thumbs up, and also bemused that Bill Weasley and Juntao! are in the same movie. 

Star Wars: Episode VI: Return of the Jedi

Jabba the Hutt is possibly the ugliest character I have ever seen; he is so disgusting - and poor Leia had to touch him!
Three quarters thumbs up - I can see why fans are angry at the altered Anakin spirit, but the ending is still too cheesy in both versions.
