Fell asleep at parts (what is wrong with me?!) - so I don't exactly know who or what is Ultron? And who is this red guy?
Half a drowsy thumbs up, and a startled hand slap to Josh, who did not appreciate that!

That kid did a too brilliant of a job being the douchey little shithead.
Zero thumbs up - it was okay, a bit weird, and there is a reason the 1:1 aspect ratio (a viewing area of a perfect square) is unheard of - it was uncomfortable and distracting.

The love between atelier Florence and Pieter (Raf Simmon's right hand man) was just so sweet!

Nicole Kidman had a bad character and acted terribly.

It has Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann, who I both like, but it is not a likeable film.

That opening toenail scene is one of the most horrific things I have ever seen - I felt a bit nauseous that I had to pause it, watch something light-hearted, then come back.

I have to agree with the Academy in it not receiving best actor or actress nominations - the story itself was powerful but the performances were only average.

Of course it starts raining as soon as the movie starts.
One thumbs up for the movie, one thumbs down for the rain, and one thumbs up for each of the delicious baos: peking duck, fried chicken and pork belly!

Chappie

Mostly I was impressed with how sympathetic they made the robot Chappie, until things got a bit silly with the whole consciousness and battery thing at the end.
Zero thumbs up (but no thumbs down), and at least now I know who Die Antwoord are.
